Personal use and recommendation are not the same thing. Saying that I use a product describes my own current practice; it does not establish that the product is superior or appropriate for everyone. Likewise, I may consider a product worth recommending or discussing even when I do not personally use it.
Recommendation language can reflect different levels of confidence or different use cases. Those judgments are mine as the author and curator of this website; they are not decisions made by a separate NVA or RDJ institution.
